Identify the actual work points along the elevation and where equipment can safely stand. Roof edges, canopies, landscaping and temporary works can create outreach requirements that building height alone does not show.
Cladding and envelope work can extend across long runs. Explain how the task progresses along the elevation so the supplier can consider platform size, outreach and the practical frequency of machine movements.
Haul roads, compacted stone, finished paving, soft verges and recently disturbed ground can require different machine configurations. The final operating area should be checked against the specific machine offered.
Roofing and cladding jobs are often easier to understand from an elevation, marked-up photograph or simple sketch than from a single height figure. Show the roof edge, canopy, façade line and likely machine standing positions so the supplier can assess whether vertical access or boom outreach is the more realistic starting point.
Scaffolding, stored materials, completed paving, landscaping and other trades can change the machine route and standing positions during an envelope package. A machine that suited the early construction phase may no longer fit once the site is more complete, so confirm the route and operating area close to the hire date.
