Security zones, service corridors, doorways, lifts, thresholds and completed technical spaces can limit what equipment can reach the work area. Record the complete route rather than only the final room dimensions.
Projects may impose controls around local emissions, noise, charging, cleanliness, operating hours or interaction with live technical areas. State the actual site requirements so suppliers can filter unsuitable configurations.
Finished floors and loading restrictions can be important in technical environments. Also state the people, tools and materials that need to travel in the platform so capacity and machine weight are considered together.
Data-centre projects differ in commissioning status, security, floor construction, operational state and contractor rules. Do not assume one universal machine policy applies. Give the supplier the actual project restrictions on emissions, tyres, charging, floor loading, access windows and work zones.
Equipment may need to pass through security, loading areas, service corridors, lifts or completed technical spaces. Record not just the route into the work area but how the machine will be removed after the task, especially where fit-out progress could narrow or change the route during the hire.
